b) Development of human capital within the organisation.
c) Initiate talent management and leadership programmes to build world class research and development competency.
d) Offer advice on training costs and provide assistance regarding training budgets
e) Manage and maintain collaborations and relationships with external stakeholders on Human Capital Development initiatives.
f) Build and enhance relationships with divisions to ensure effective service delivery.
g) Ensure AET programme plans are communicated to Divisions; monitor attendance and bookings for examinations with accredited approved service providers.
h) Ensure compliance with grant conditions (AET MQA) and ensures SLAs/contracts are in place and spread costing to staff on completion of learning activities.
i) Plan, formulate, manage, arrange and implement all learning interventions in collaboration with Skills Development Committee; aligned with the company’s Human Capital Development Strategy.
j) Compile and maintain an accurate Part Time Study register and schedule of university fees as well as manage all applications, renewals and extensions
k) Maintain and update policies and procedures utilising Lotus notes and other prescribed formats
l) Consult with HR generalists to fast-track achievement of division and business employment equity targets informed by training feedback and reports
m) Drive the Skills Development Committee meetings, write and present training reports to management and staff
n) Develop and implement workplace skills plan and annual training report – analyse and interpret divisional human resources plans, employee performance appraisal feedback from moderations committees and consult with line managers about current and future training requirements
a) Sound knowledge and a good understanding of various Labour legislation including Skills Development Act
b) Knowledge and experience in managing employee development programmes including Artisan Learnership, Work-Integrated-Learning, Bursary programmes
c) Effective negotiation, report writing and presentation skills
d) Effective administration of Contracts, Grants, Bursaries and Projects
e) Advanced knowledge of HR admin processes, information systems, policies and procedures
f) A solid understanding and experience in Skills development facilitation, Workforce planning and managing TD related projects
a) Matric (required)
b) B.Com (HR) or equivalent (required)
c) B.Com (Hons) HR / Industrial Psychology or equivalent (preferred)
d) Registered with SABPP as HR practitioner (preferred)
e) Relevant experience in related field
