Key Purpose Statement

Work in partnership with the HR Consultant and Recruiting Manager to successfully source, assess, acquire and deploy

talent within focus area.

  • An undergraduate Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or equivalent degree is a minimum requirement.

Coupled with the understanding of relevant employment legislation and its effects on the recruitment process

  • An Industrial psychology or Human Resources post graduate qualification would be advantageous
  • 5+ years experience as a recruiter in an agency or corporate environment
  • Knowledge of psychometric assessments would be an added advantage
  • Proven recruitment experience across a variety of roles and levels
  • Track record of successful placements across all levels
  • Knowledge of SA’s recruiting/talent landscape
  • Proficiency in MS Office , web based recruiting and sourcing tools e.g. SAP
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing for roles of varying complexity

Output and Accountabilities

  • Support recruiting manager’s recruitment and deployment needs
  • Implement pipeline sourcing requirements for key customers (graduates, learnerships, in-service trainees)
  • Implement talent assessment solutions for the evaluation and assessment of candidates to determine suitability for

a given position

  • Audit and maintain talent SAP data integrity within focus area
  • Provide relevant reporting, trending, and solutions for focus areas
  • Audit process compliance to recruitment processes, standards and policy
  • Provide process coaching on relevant talent acquisition assessment processes
  • Manage graduate recruitment for functional area
  • Maintain functional excellence within focus area
  • Compile relevant documentation in line with the business standard
  • Correspond / communicate with candidates to provide status updates on their employment consideration and

maintain relationships

  • Maximise recruitment as a lever for transformation
