Work Based Learning Programme – Receptionist Learnership

Reports to Office Manager

Based in Boksburg

Job Summary:
Well Maid Domestic Placement is looking for a suitable candidate

who is willing to receive on the job training to fill the position of Receptionist.

The person must be older than 16 and younger than 35 to be

eligible for a learnership. The learnership will promote access to training, as

we will allow the person to work and get started on their career. It will also

skill and prepare the learner for the workplace should they want to change

careers. Applicants must reside in the Boksburg/ Germiston surrounding areas.

The selected candidates will be required to enter into a fixed

term employment contract with us and we can then review and decide whether we

are employing them on a full time basis, based on performance.

Key responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls and maintain a rapid response rate

Facilitate the candidate registration process

Ensure office manager is made aware of all her client and

candidate meetings

Ensure the files are kept neat and in order.

Perform reception duties in an efficient, professional and

courteous manner

Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance,

punctuality personal appearance that reflects the high image of the company.

learnership – (6 months) then we will review

Learnerships improve on the job performance because you are able

to do things relevant to the job


Training will be based on the following:
Assisting customers

Interviewing candidates

Managing interviews

Conducting regular data analysis, check quality and accuracy of

data and report to management on sales data

Answering calls and transferring them to relevant people

Data Capturing

Managing Correspondence

Possibilities and risk impact

Managing issues solutions and escalations

Support the drive for high performance culture

Own development plan in place, performance contract, complete

appropriate assessments

Excel spreadsheet

Microsoft Outlook

Requirements:
Grade 11-12

Basic computer literacy (MS word)

Basic calculation skills

English proficiency

Understanding of 2 or more SA official languages.

Can take constructive criticism

Trustworthy

Personal situation:
You will be required to work on Saturdays (at times 2 consecutive

Saturdays).

You will at times be required to work extra hours.

You should be willing to prioritise company needs.

Salary:
This is purely a work based learning programme not a job. The

person will earn a learner allowance for the duration of the learnership, this

covers travel expenses only (R700 per month based for transportation costs)
