    1. Workforce / Capacity Planning
    §

    Supports GIA in defining function and role demand drivers and to use this data in the process of annual workforce planning

    2. Talent Management
    §

    Compile, analyse and interpret People Balance Sheet talent reports (turnover, equity, retention) and develop recommendations
    §

    Manage and co-ordinate the output of the talent review process

    3. Organisation Design and Development
    §

    Evaluate GIA’s performance and recommend solutions if intended business outcomes are not being achieved.
    §

    Use organisation design models and frameworks to assist the business design and implement an appropriate operating model and supporting organisation structure

    4. Remuneration and Benefits
    §

    Analyse Remuneration Benefits data – for individuals and groups
    §


    Able to analyse role size growth or shrinkage in the business and make recommendations for improvement.
    §

    Facilitates the annual reward and recognition practices and processes

    5. Learning and Development
    §

    Able to analyse leadership reports and other diagnostics and make recommendations for leadership interventions.
    §

    Identifies and contracts appropriate leadership team interventions to facilitate the effective operation of the GIA Excom and Opscom

    6. HR Analytics
    §

    Gather and analyse HR data using quantitative statistical methods and qualitative methods.
    §

    Develop an appropriate Management Information framework

    7. HR People Strategy
    §

    Contributes to GIA Strategic Priorities, with a focus on People
    §

    Aligns GIA HR needs to business and OMEM People Plan and develops the GIA People Plan in support of these plans

    8. Risk Management
    §

    Supports the Excom to identify all HR risks for GIA and reports on risks
    §

    Develops risk prevention measures
    §

    Monitor GIA compliance with local business HR policies procedures

    9. Transformation
    §

    Understand relevant SA legislation and sectorial determinations for transformation
    §

    Track and report on EE, Skills Development (SD) and Learnerships
